Grandpa and Grammy's visit - Part 2

Sorry this is so late in posting.... Shekina having a ball at Grandpa's 2nd birthday dinner - all part of the "birthday festivities" Setter-style! :)
Shekina's trying to figure out these funny back stretches that Grandpa does each morning for his back... "Hey, Grandpa this way is a lot easier!!! Watch me!!!

Yes, I do like this tug boat, especially in the tub when you put it under water.... as it squirts out water from the top... Pretty neat! :)
Hmmmm...what a view from the bridge at Riverwalk in San Antonio..but when are we going to get icecream??? I'm trying to savor a flavour from my finger..but my imagination only goes so far....let's go for the real thing, eh? :)

Boy, the things you miss when you take a nap! :)
I must say they all look pretty cute! :)

Well now ..... isn;t this a special spot! Good 'ol Alvin's Sandwiches, and by crackie, there is Alvin himself!! :)
Check out THEIR buns!!! :)
The birthday boy with his second birthday cake...the first one was more healthy, now we go all out for the decadent one....To die for!!! :)
Grandpa is opening his specially selected briefcase. It had to meet certain key criteria in order to replace his old one. Good 'ol Daddy searched high and low and found the perfect one - that even met Grandpa's approval! :)

I LOVE walking in mommy and daddy's slippers...beats me why they always buy me such small shoes??? Don't you think these fit me perfectly... and look how well I walk in them! :)

" I'm very busy" getting Grandpa and Grammy all outfitted with my pretty fabric samples...
We wear them as hats, ties and Grammy even puts them between her toesies! :)

I'm riding Grandpa's other briefcase (my Great Grandpa gave it to my Grandpa when he went to University many moons ago! :) Pretty sturdy, I'd say...Let's ride, em cowboy!!! :)

At the airport saying our good-bye's....it was soo nice to meet Grandpa and Grammy! :) I can't wait until they come back again.....

I can still see you.... Bye bye...

Lots of kisses! xoxoxox

Grandpa and Nanny, er..Grammy's visit!!! :) Mar 14-21/06 Part 1

How thrilled I was to meet my Grandpa and Grammy for the first time! :) Wow, they are soo much fun! :) My Grammy even smooches by little feet! :)

Holding Grandpa's hand x0x0
Watch out! I'm "on the go"! :)
I love when my parents sing "This little light of mine". I "sign" a number of things since my mom and dad still can't understand my language yet...so when I hold up my little finger that's my request that we (they)sing that song! :)
I have a little repetoire of songs that I love - they are kind of like my own personal DJ! :)
Climbing the 99 steps to the "summit" of Mount Bonnell was later rewarded

....

by a trip to Austin's infamous Amy's Icecream - they order and I just smile! :)
Watching Grammy make a raw fruit pie! Mm..mmm good! :)

Everyone pitched in as we made a very special birthday BBQ dinner for Grandpa's 77th birthday! Doesn;t he look dapper? :)

Grammy bought me some fun books and I love when she sat down and read them to me! :)

Oops, something seemed to happen to the rest of the pics - will have to redo them in Part 2...stay tuned!
