Fun Times this Winter! :)

Please Note: This Blog entry was created in January and somehow didn;t get posted..so here it is... :)

Mommy's kinda behind on this blog as I am keeping her rather busy... I started taking my FIRST 4 steps by myself on December 3 and am walking much more now, although at times a little wobbly! :) We've been having lots of fun, this being my first winter in Austin! :)
I LUV clapping and listening to music. Mommy sings to me quite a bit too! She does this funny "I am a Chiquta banana" song at breakfast in the AM - it's a lot of fun!
We listen to worship songs as well! :)

How do you like my "Santa slippers"? Mommy said this is the BEST $1 she ever spent!!! :)

Peek-a-boo! :)

I'm dressed like a Canadian snow bunny! :)

Decorating a gingerbread man with my Daddy. "How does the icing taste?" Mmmm good?

I love pointing at anything and everything - usually things up in the ceiling! Mommy and I do this little game that when we touch fingers - it's like a magical kiss, saying that we love each other! :)

Happy Chinese New Year!!!

We attended Chinese New Years celebration that included chinese children dancing, dinner, the traditional dragon dance and ingenious fireworks!!! :)

Curious George(tte)! :)

My sister, Anne Louise and her husband Dwight had just arrived from Edmonton (Canada) for a visit so they joined in the festivities! :)

Waiting for dinner....
Getting to know Auntie Anne! :) Excuse my hair, I'm due for a bang cut and Auntie Anne did them for me a few days later! :)
These are the ingenious non-fire firecrackers that they had for the kids...pieces of bubble wrap all over the floor that the kids jumped on and it REALLY sounded like fireworks...how fun and CREATIVE!!!
